If you know me, you know I’m a fine art wedding photographer with a deep love for Italy. To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we decided to explore Tuscany. The scenery, history, and light here are magical, and of course, I couldn’t resist capturing it through fine art film photography.

As a fine art wedding photographer in Italy, when I’m not shooting weddings, I’m often traveling—and somehow, travel always leads me back to Italy. Whether it’s weddings or travel, there’s always an opportunity for fine art film photography in Italy. This blog post is all about those moments, showing you the beauty I experienced.

San Gimignano and Vall d’Elsa

We started our journey in San Gimignano, known for its medieval towers and captivating charm, before moving on to Vall d’Elsa, a hidden gem in Tuscany. Each place was a blend of history and beauty that I tried to capture through my lens.

Siena and Florence

Next up was the historic city of Siena, with its narrow streets and iconic Piazza del Campo, followed by Florence. There’s no way we could skip Florence! The birthplace of the Renaissance was as inspiring as ever, and photographing its iconic architecture was an absolute dream.

Montalcino, Pienza, and Val d’Orcia

As we ventured deeper into Tuscany, we explored the wine country of Montalcino, the peaceful streets of Pienza, and the idyllic countryside of Val d’Orcia. These locations felt like they were pulled straight from a painting, and my fine art film photography captured the light and textures perfectly.

Montepulciano, Lucca, and Pisa

After soaking in the countryside, we headed to Montepulciano, perched on a hill with panoramic views. We then visited Lucca, known for its well-preserved Renaissance walls and beautiful piazzas. Our next stop was Pisa, where we couldn’t miss the iconic Leaning Tower—a true must-see.

Arezzo and Cinque Terre

We continued on to Arezzo, another historic gem, before wrapping up our trip in Cinque Terre. The vibrant seaside villages provided the perfect end to our journey, with colorful houses and the sparkling sea as a stunning backdrop.

Tuscany’s beauty speaks for itself, but I hope these fine art film photographs have given you a glimpse into the magic I found.
