A Creative Love Story at One&Only Palmilla

Some weddings stay with you long after the day is over. Noor and Anthony’s One&Only The Palm Dubai wedding is one of those celebrations.

Both Noor and Anthony are Disney animators based in Los Angeles, and their creativity could be seen in every detail of this One&Only The Palm Dubai celebration. Anthony’s family also traveled all the way from Canada to celebrate this special occasion in Dubai, making it a truly international affair.

Working with fellow artists at this Dubai wedding was such a wonderful experience. Every conversation felt thoughtful and inspiring, and their vision made the day feel deeply personal and unlike anything else.

The Beauty of One&Only The Palm Dubai Wedding Venue

One&Only The Palm Dubai provided the perfect setting for their celebration. The elegant architecture, lush gardens, and peaceful surroundings created a timeless atmosphere. Every corner of the venue offered a beautiful backdrop for photographs.

The venue perfectly complemented the couple’s refined style. It allowed every carefully planned detail to shine while creating an intimate and relaxed atmosphere.

The floral design was beautifully brought to life by Maria German, whose work complemented Noor’s vision and added an elegant, organic touch to the celebration.

Captured on Digital, Film & Super 8mm — A Dubai Wedding Like No Other

To preserve the day in the most authentic way, the wedding was documented using digital photography, film photography, and Super 8mm film. Each format added its own unique character. Together, they told the story with both modern clarity and nostalgic charm.

Noor looked stunning in her Vivienne Westwood gown. Every moment reflected the elegance of the venue and the warmth shared by everyone present.

Every Detail Was Designed by the Bride

Noor designed almost every element of the wedding herself. She created the invitations, scort cards, wedding favors, and the overall styling. Each piece reflected her artistic eye and her attention to detail.

One of the most meaningful details was the cake topper. Noor sculpted it from clay by hand. It featured the couple alongside their beloved cat, who was there in spirit. It was a small detail that carried so much love.

Portraits Around One&Only The Palm Dubai

We began their portraits with a private first look at the beautiful spa courtyard. The elegant Arabesque architecture created the perfect setting for such an emotional moment. From there, we explored some of the most beautiful corners of One&Only The Palm Dubai. Every walkway, garden, and archway offered a unique backdrop for their portraits.

Before the evening continued, we slipped away for a quick session on the beach. It turned into one of the most fun parts of the day. We embraced movement, laughter while experimenting with motion blur and flash. The result was a collection of photographs that felt artistic, playful, and completely true to Noor and Anthony’s creative personalities.

Noor and Anthony’s wedding at One&Only The Palm Dubai was more than a beautiful celebration. It was a reflection of who they are as artists and as a couple. It was one of the sweetest weddings I have ever had the privilege to photograph, and I feel incredibly grateful to have been part of their story.

A Surprise Ending to Remember

As the evening came to a close, Anthony had one final surprise waiting for everyone. Being an animator, he created a beautiful short animation that told the story of their relationship. It was projected onto a large screen leaving not only Noor but all of their guests emotional. It was the perfect ending to a day that celebrated their creativity, love, and the life they had built together. Moments like these are impossible to plan for as a photographer, but they become some of the most meaningful memories to capture.

Insider Tips from a Dubai Wedding Photographer

A beautiful Dubai wedding deserves thoughtful planning. Here are a few things I recommend:

  • Plan your date carefully. For outdoor weddings, the best months in Dubai are usually from November to March when the weather is more comfortable. With a shorter outdoor wedding season, venues like One&Only The Palm Dubai can get booked quickly.
  • Secure your venue and photographer early. The most sought-after locations and creative teams are often reserved well in advance.
