Set in the green heart of Tuscany, just a one-hour drive from Florence Airport, this Tuscany wedding at Fattoria degli Usignoli felt like a slow, beautifully composed Italian dream. Cypress trees, olive groves, and soft golden light framed every moment across this unforgettable multi-day celebration.

Welcome to Tuscany: A Pizza Night to Start Your Wedding Weekend

The multi-day wedding in Tuscany began with a relaxed pizza night under the Tuscan sky. Right from the start, guests gathered in a laid-back setting, instantly easing into the rhythm of the weekend. Meanwhile, the golden-hour light, shared tables, and wood-fired pizza together created an atmosphere of effortless connection and anticipation.

Tuscan Wedding Night: Dinner & Karaoke

After a sun-soaked pool day and an afternoon of wine tasting, the third evening brought everyone back together for a traditional Tuscan dinner. As a result, conversation flowed easily, laughter filled the air, and the energy remained warm and relaxed. Then, as night fell, karaoke transformed the mood completely — ultimately turning this chapter of the multi-day wedding in Tuscany into a joyful, unforgettable celebration under the stars.

Wedding guests dressed in elegant semi-formal attire are seated at round tables with black chairs on a stone courtyard terrace at golden hour, with a glowing peach sky overhead. A tall manicured hedge and towering cypress trees frame the left side, while the warm terracotta facade of a rustic Tuscan villa with balconies and a covered loggia fills the background. A screen displaying a portrait is visible to the right of the dining area.

Black-Tie Wedding Day in Soft Tuscan Light

After three days of celebration, the wedding day finally arrived in elegant black-tie style. The cloudy weather fortunately created soft, diffused light — perfect for photography and comfort during a midday ceremony.

Christen and Kai prepared separately, therefore building anticipation throughout the morning. Meanwhile, the groom’s brother prepared to officiate the ceremony, making it deeply personal and heartfelt.

There was no first look. Instead, Kai saw Christen for the first time as she walked down the staircase, framed by a flowing white curtain and wild yellow flowers. It was one of the most emotional moments of this multi-day wedding in Tuscany.

The groom stands in profile in a rustic Tuscan villa bathroom with blue tiled walls and exposed wooden ceiling beams, fastening his black bow tie over a crisp white dress shirt as he gets ready on his wedding day. Warm light streams through a wooden-framed window, illuminating grooming products on the vanity shelf beside a lit mirror.
The groom and two groomsmen in black tuxedos and bow ties prepare on a terrace balcony at the Tuscan estate before the ceremony. One groomsman reads from a small book while the groom looks on, and another adjusts his cufflinks, with rolling Tuscan hills, cypress trees, and an overcast sky stretching behind them.

Rolling Tuscan hills, cypress trees, and the estate grounds stretch across the horizon behind them.

The wedding party gathers in the rustic cobblestone courtyard of the Tuscan stone villa before the ceremony. Six bridesmaids in elegant floor-length black gowns stand in a loose group receiving instructions, joined by a flower girl and a young page boy also dressed in black, with terracotta pots, wooden shuttered windows, and the textured stone facade of the villa behind them.

Reception Under the Tuscan Trees

Following the ceremony, guests moved to a wide lawn surrounded by mature Tuscan trees. Long tables encouraged conversation and connection, while the black-tie dress code created a striking contrast against the natural greenery.

The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed—perfectly capturing the essence of a multi-day wedding in Tuscany rooted in shared experience and beauty.

The tables are styled with clusters of white roses, tall glass bud vases, wine bottles, and glassware. The bride and groom sit at a small sweetheart table at the far end, framed by a large Italian stone pine tree, terracotta urns, yellow flowering shrubs, and a breathtaking panoramic view of the rolling Tuscan mountain range under a dramatic cloudy sky.

Tuscan Cocktail Hour: Cigars, Aperitivo & Dancing

After lunch, the celebration naturally shifted into cake cutting, aperitivo, and dancing. The DJ set the tone as the energy gradually transformed from formal dining to full celebration.

A highlight of the night was Christen and Kai’s live performance of “Die With a Smile” by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga—an emotional moment that became one of the defining memories of this multi-day wedding in Tuscany.

As the night unfolded, the dance floor filled, laughter grew louder, and the Tuscan evening turned into pure celebration.

Insider Tips from a Tuscany Wedding Photographer

A multi-day wedding in Tuscany tells a richer story when captured in full. Here’s what I recommend:

  • Book coverage across all events, not just the wedding day
  • Include welcome dinners and pre-wedding gatherings — they add depth to your story
  • Allow your photographer time to connect with guests early for natural, candid moments
